Why Book a DJ?
Murdock are currently working on a combined band and disco solution. This is a fantastic way for our clients to save money. Many clients have complained that they have paid for a wedding DJ when on the night the guests wanted more live music. Therefore the DJ played very little for a relatively high cost. Murdock are therefore creating a flexible system whereby we can provide live music through an Apple Macbook. Afterall, this is essentially what a modern DJ does. Therefore, we will provide the facilities to play music before, between and after our live sets.
Disco and Band
Should you opt for this option, disco lighting will be provided and there will a predetermined playlist to choose songs from which consists of well known party and disco songs, modern hits, indie, motown and classic rock songs so there will be something to cater for all tastes). From the playlist you will be able to select any 50 songs to play throughout the night - plus 5 requests including the 1st dance! These 55 songs will be enough to take an evening do from approx 7:30 pm - 12:30pm, should you need longer there will be plenty of songs in reserve in similar styles to those you have chosen. From the songs you have chosen you can choose the order you want them playing or let us sort out the order.
Flexible Entertainment
Effectively, your night will be split up into five seperate entertainment sections. The disco music will play from the start of the evening until Murdock play their first live set. Then following the first live more disco music will be played before Murdock take to the stage for their final set. Following that final set you can boogie the night away to the remainder of the selected songs.
